The Lovelies brings together four highly accomplished and individual musicians.

Beguiling songstress and multi-instrumentalist Abbie Lathe, compelling vocalist and pianist Claud Gibson (both of Maddy Prior and the Girls), mesmerising fiddler Jane Griffiths (Telling the Bees), and virtuoso bassist Colin Fletcher (Telling the Bees, Van Eyken Band) draw on their combined classical, folk, pop, and rock influences to create a unique musical experience.

Their material includes soulful original and traditional songs, enchanting vocal harmonies, sparkling instrumentals, and the odd Howard Jones cover, all delivered with panache and a healthy dose of irreverent humour.
